Co-Ownership's latest views on affordability

We welcome the Review of Affordable Housing under the direction of Sir John Semple.
The Review’s remit is comprehensive and aims to generate debate and highlight ways to help local people into affordable homes, including into affordable home ownership.

A summary of our recommendations can be found on page 25 of the submission. They illustrate what we can do quickly to give people access to affordable homes.
The Interim report has been produced and was open to consultation until 26th January 2007. View the interim report on the DSD website.
We have now provided a 2nd submission to support the debate on some difficult issues.

Following consultation on the Interim report, a final report will be produced in March 2007.
