If you need a little help to get onto the property ladder, here's what we can do

What type of property can I choose?

Your choice of home can be new build or existing
It will be in a good state of repair and inside the value limit for your council area (the value limit is the top price we can look at)

How long does it take?

1^st thing	Get started househunting with your property price range contact our freephone advisers on 0800 333 644 for your up front, personal assessment
Day 1	Receipt confirmed we write to both you and the estate agent Your appointment made with Co-Ownership adviser valuer sent property details
Day 7	By now, you have met with your Co-Ownership adviser and valuer has visited property
Day 10	Decision time for most people, provided no outstanding queries eg, missing documents, valuation queries

What do I pay to Co-Ownership?

When you apply you will send in £250 to cover legal and valuation fees.

(made up of valuation fee £40, legal package fee £210). The Key to Affording your Home information booklet includes a full breakdown.

Your money is refundable if we can't help you, apart from the valuation fee.

You will receive a valuation report on your chosen property.

Legal expenses will vary with your chosen property and so they're paid later, direct to your solicitor.
